The Public Information (PI) Committee

The PI Committee Chairperson(s) are elected by the Area Assembly, PI Committee members are appointed by the Area Chairperson.

PI Committee - Website Responsibilities and Authority

1. The Area 63 PI Committee is responsible to the Area 63 Assembly and  is  responsible for the content of the South Dakota Area 63 Website.
2. The PI committee shall elect a Web Manager responsible for the daily maintenance of the Website, which requires updating the changing information on meetings, groups, events and implementing changes in the presentation of information posted on our website.
3. The Web Manager will report to the PI Committee at all quarterly meetings of the Area 63 Assembly.
4. The Chairperson of the PI Committee shall give a written and verbal report on the Website at all quarterly Area 63 meetings.
5. The PI committee shall present an annual budget to the Area for the Website.
6. The South Dakota Area 63 AA Website shall, in all its matters, always adhere to AA’s principles of the Twelve Traditions and the Twelve Concepts for World Service.
